Crown Berkey & Stainless Steel Spigot Bundle Sale

This is the BEST water filter system we have ever had. We live in a state where the water quality is crap and literally makes me sick when I drink it (serious heartburn, upset stomach, nausea, etc.) I spent a year going to GI doctors who couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I'm not a native to this state and no one else they treated was having an issue like I was. When I asked them if the water could be the culprit of my symptoms (they seemed to start every time I drank the tap water, even when filtered with a Britta) they laughed me out of the office saying, "water can't do that." We tried cheaper water filters and it helped a little but I was still getting sick. So I switched to drinking distilled water and the problems went away. But distilled water can be very pricey when you're having to buy it in bulk and it's not the greatest thing for you to drink/cook with long term. My mother told me about Berkey and how great hers was so I did some research on them and decided it was worth a try. Voila! No more being sick all the time and no more having to buy distilled water in bulk. This thing is a game changer. It was super easy to assemble and holds a LOT of water. The only issue we had with it was a small leak at the spigot that we were able to fix by flipping one of the washers around (we received one flat and one concaved washer instead of two flat ones for the spigot).

Editing my review! They sent me the replacement piece and it fixed it! Great customer service.Was really excited for this, but it leaks around the spigot. I have reached out to Berkey for assistance and they are sending me a new spigot. I have the plastic spigot, and honestly the spigot quality is better on the $5 Walmart water dispenser that I have. I’m not too keen on shelling out more money for a stainless steel Berkey spigot when I’ve already spent hundreds on this product. The provided spigot should work.I will update my review if the new spigot that Berkey sends me fixes it, but I may be replacing it with the Walmart spigot and making a Frankenstein Berkey if it doesn’t 🤷‍♀️

I LOVE my crown Berkey. It is just me and my hubby and we go through a lot water from drinking and cooking. I replaced the "leaky spigot" that came original to this Berkey by ordering a new one with the site glass.- All is well now.
